OBX day 6: Today is the 4th of July, but we didn’t tell the kids that. They’ve been getting up every day just after 6am, so we figured they needed to get to sleep by 8p, before the fireworks started. At lunchtime we finished up the beer competition. Most people agreed that the winning beer was not their favorite, but was the least offensive. I think it maybe a metaphor for the coming elections. One family brought their bounce house and we were able to set it up in the living room to entertain the kids while we started packing for home.
