OBX day 2: After going to bed over an hour late last night, the kids got up just after 6 am this morning. We hit the beach (an easy walk across the street) before 9am and came back to the house for lunch. The twins played nicely with the other kids and for the first time in history, Casey and I got to sit down in our beach chairs while at the beach with the kids. Each year the kids get a bit more independent and each year Casey and I have more and more time for “grownup” stuff. After lunch we all hit the private pool in our back yard. I brought 6 squirt guns and the kids and grownups alike enjoyed squirting each other.
